  • The School Choice Application for the 2025-2026 School Year is Now Open

    In the CVUSD, we have a right fit for every student. For families who would like to enroll their student in a CVUSD school other than their assigned neighborhood school, this may be completed via the School Choice Application process. On Friday, November 1, 2024 at 8:00 am, the School Choice Application for the 2025-2026 school year will be available for families to complete online.

  • Westlake Elementary Earns $29K Grant to Provide Career Exploration Offerings to 4th and 5th Grade Students

    Westlake Elementary School is the proud recipient of a $29,756 grant from the K12 Strong Workforce Program to fund its project, “Mentoring Tomorrow’s Workforce: Bridging Elementary and High School Through Career Exploration,” with the goal of encouraging students to take ownership of their education and actively shape their future.

  • 2024 Holiday Toy Drive

    CVUSD is proud to partner with Safe Passage Youth Foundation and the Thousand Oaks Police Department for the annual holiday toy drive to benefit CVUSD students of all ages. New, unwrapped toy donations may be dropped off at 1400 E. Janss Road in Thousand Oaks from 12/2 - 12/20. Thank you for your support!

  • We're Hiring Paraeducators - Join Us for a Walk-In Interview this December!

    We are hiring for a variety of both part-time and full-time Paraeducator positions. This important role supports students with disabilities. Join us for a Walk-In Interview available on two dates this December at our District Educational Center located at 1400 E. Janss Road in Thousand Oaks.
