Work Permits

Work Permits for students attending Private schools - During the school year work permits for students attending private schools are completed by the private school they are attending.  Please check with your school's office manager for further information.

• Fill out a Statement of Intent to Employ a Minor and Request for a Work Permit–Certificate of Age AND the Permit to Employ and Work form. Collect all necessary information and signatures. Take the completed form to your schools office the forms will be completed by the student's school. You will need a student i.d. or driver's license, and a copy of your recent transcripts.

• Work Permits for students attending CVUSD schools - During the school year work permits for students attending CVUSD schools need to be submitted to the student's school for approval.  Please check with your school's office manager for further information.

Work Permits during the summer when the schools are closed - During the summer months work permits for students attending both private schools and CVUSD schools need to be submitted in person to the CVUSD Summer School Office.
