PTA Reflections Program
-
“Accepting Imperfection” is the theme for the 2024-2025 Reflections Art Program which has been bringing the arts to life for more than 10 million students since 1969. The program encourages students of all ages to unleash their creative talents, express themselves through their art work, experience the fun and joy of making art, tap into critical thinking skills, and receive some positive recognition for their original works of art.
All students at Sequoia Middle School are welcome and encouraged to participate and submit original artwork in one of seven divisions: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Special Artist, and Visual Arts. **Sequoia PTSA offers a $50 prize for first place entries in each category!!**
Additional information about entry forms and deadlines will be available once the school year begins, but students can view category specific rules below so they can begin brainstorming and working on their entries now.
Annual Theme Search Contest

Each year, students are invited to submit original and creative theme ideas that will shape the future of our Reflections program and inspire thousands of young, student artists to create original works. California State PTA will submit five student-created themes to National PTA for review and consideration. The winning student will also receive a $100 award and national recognition.
