Hello! I’m Allyson Spratt, and I’m very excited to be the 4th-grade teacher at Acacia Elementary School. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies from California State University of Northridge, and I am working towards my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. With over 7 years of teaching experience, I have had the pleasure of working with students in various grades and have specialized in reading and STEM education as I am a Nationally STEM Certified teacher.
I believe in fostering a growth mindset in my students, encouraging them to embrace challenges and learn from their mistakes. My goal is to create a supportive and stimulating environment where every student feels valued and motivated to achieve their best. In my classroom, I use a mix of hands-on activities, collaborative projects, and technology to engage students and make learning enjoyable. I also focus on personalized learning to meet each student’s unique needs.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy hiking, gardening, and baking. I also love traveling and going on adventures, which often inspires my lessons and classroom activities.
I’m looking forward to a fantastic year with your children and am excited about the wonderful learning experiences ahead!
