About Us

Conejo Valley Unified School District’s SHINE Homeschool program offers a personalized learning model to students in grades TK-12.

Credentialed SHINE teachers meet with students and families weekly to discuss progress, set goals, and provide feedback on completed work.

Our homeschool program designs customized academic experiences and assignments for each individual student. The curriculum is designed to be personalized and flexible.

What makes SHINE unique is that while the parents are providing the instruction at home, the SHINE teacher/advisor is always available for support or instructional coaching. Your SHINE advisor will lesson plan, curriculum map, provide weekly assignments for each subject, correct and grade assignments, and complete trimester benchmarks and assessments with your child.
