• Francisco Solorio, Language Facilitator
This is Francisco’s third year working at CVUSD. He previously worked as a Substitute Teacher and Bilingual Paraeducator. This year he will be the Language Facilitator for Westlake Hills Elementary from Monday through Friday.

Before working at CVUSD, he student taught at Colina Middle School and worked as a second grade teacher at a Dual Immersion Spanish School. Education has been a passion of his since he was a middle school student, being inspired by many of his former teachers. Francisco spent his high school and college years volunteering at school events, observing in classrooms, and supporting in classrooms when taking Child development and Education coursework.

Francisco earned his Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Spanish from CSU Stanislaus. Following graduation, he then completed his student teaching coursework at CalStateTEACH. He has a passion for supporting students to achieve their academic goals, personal goals, and making school a fun, happy, and enjoyable experience.

Francisco is a passionate fan of soccer. Anywhere with a ball is considered his happy place. He is also a soccer coach where he spends hours after school with a ball, teaching his players the fundamentals of “the beautiful game” but also instilling a passion in the sport he loves the most. When he is not on the field or at school, he loves to read. Of course, his favorite kind of books are soccer-related books, but he also enjoys self-improvement books and non-fiction novels as well.
