Hi! I teach English, Spanish, Art Appreciation, Creative Writing, Music Appreciation, Yoga, and Spin at Century Academy. Prior to teaching at Century, I taught for two years at Conejo Valley High School and two years at Providence High School, which services Juvenile Hall in Oxnard. Before teaching high school, I taught for ten years in grades 1-3 in Santa Ana Unified School District. I graduated from the University of California, Irvine, in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Minor in English. I earned my teaching credential from Concordia University in Irvine, and finally I earned a Master of Arts in Educational Technology in 2012 from Azusa Pacific University.
I am happily married with two stepsons and four grandchildren. My husband and I enjoy traveling and have recently visited Italy, Ireland, Hawaii, and Mammoth, and we have many more destinations on our ‘to do’ list. We also enjoy hiking, gardening, and cooking together.
