I am beyond excited to be your Assistant Principal here at Colina! I received a B.A. in Liberal Studies from CSU, Chico and Master's degree in Educational Leadership at California Lutheran University.  My calling in to education began as a high school cheerleading coach for my high school Alma Mater, Simi Valley High School. I continued that spirit for learning in my classrooms teaching Grades K-5 at Ladera Elementary, University Elementary, Conejo Elementary, and, most recently, Open Classroom Leadership Magnet (OCLM). I have also had the opportunity to lead numerous committees both school-site and district-wide including GATE, Enrichment and Intervention in MTSS, Leader Teacher at OCLM, and Student Leadership Advisor.  

During my time as a teacher in CVUSD, Colina has always upheld a reputation of excellence for every student. I was always in awe of Colina's academic excellence, spirited culture, and dedicated teachers and staff. My goal is to continue to support this long-standing tradition and to make sure all our students are provided the best middle school education and experience possible. 

I look forward to getting to know each of you! My door is always open, so please drop in whenever you have a chance.
