Hello Sequoia Middle School families! 

My name is Amy Zobel, and I am your PTSA president for the 2022-2023 school year. I will be a new middle school parent, but I am not new to a middle school campus or the PTA. I spent the last 6 years involved with the Cypress Elementary School PTA and work at Colina Middle School in Thousand Oaks. Knowing how different the PTA responsibilities are between elementary and middle school, my goals for the coming year will focus on communication between families and staff here at Sequoia, as well as reaching out to those 5th grade families who will be joining us in the not-so-distant future. 

Information is key to keeping parents involved with what’s happening on their student’s campus. These days, social media is an integral way that we receive information. Please make sure to “like” our Facebook page to stay up-to-date on all the happenings at Sequoia. It is also a great way to reach a large group of people with any questions you might have about events, activities, and day-to-day happenings. I look forward to this new chapter for my family, and can’t wait to meet my new Sequoia family!!

Volunteering with the PTSA is incredibly rewarding. Please jump in where you can. Here is a little bit about what the Sequoia PTSA does. The Sequoia PTSA is a volunteer organization and our success is greatly dependent on parents like you volunteering to help at events, by joining the PTSA and by supporting our fundraisers.
