Michele McDonald is a strategic leader, collaborative educator and a dedicated team member. She began her career as an educator in the CVUSD at Madrona Elementary School more than 22 years ago. Prior to her role as the Principal of Cypress Elementary School, she served as the Assistant Principal for Westlake Hills Elementary School during the 2021-2022 academic year.

Ms. McDonald excels at leading groups of educators, organizing curriculum for a variety of subjects, creating staff development opportunities, organizing school-wide events and analyzing school data to improve student achievement.

She is proud to lead the Cypress Cub school community!
