Attendance

  • Pay Attention to Attendance

Keep Your Child On Track in Middle and High School

Showing up for school has a huge impact on a student’s academic success starting in kindergarten and continuing through high school. Good attendance is a shared responsibility between the student and the parent. Even as children grow older and more independent, families play a key role in making sure students get to school safely every day and understand why attendance is so important for success in school and on the job. We expect parents to send their children to school each day on time and to call in any absence within 3 school days. We expect student to arrive at each class on time, to stay at school and to discuss attendance issue with their parents. For more details, go to the student handbook, page 6.
