As an employee of CVUSD, you may be eligible to participate in a 403(b) and/or 457(b) retirement plan. Participation in the plan not only helps you prepare for a more financially secure future, it can provide significant tax advantages today.

IT'S EASY TO START, STOP, OR CHANGE DEFERRALS!
To start, stop, or change elective deferrals, please complete a Salary Amendment Agreement (available below) as follows:
403(b) RETIREMENT SAVINGS PLANStep #1: Visit the US Omni webpage to learn of Investment Providers available in the plan & select an Investment Provider. Some Investment Providers have financial advisor(s), while others do not. If you need further guidance contact OMNI, CVUSD’s Third Party Plan Administrator (TPA). Click here for brochure
Step #2: Open an account through the Investment Provider you chose.
Step #3: Complete and submit a 403(b) Salary Reduction Agreement (SRA) Form to US OMNI.
457(b) RETIREMENT SAVINGS PLANStep #1: Employees can work with a financial advisor of their choice, or with no advisor depending on the Investment Provider they select.
Step #2: Open an account through the Investment Provider you chose.
Step #3: Complete and submit a 457(b) Salary Reduction Agreement (SRA) Form to US OMNI.
403(b) and 457(b) ROTH CONTRIBUTIONSThe IRS allows both 403(b) and 457(b) to accept Roth contributions. Roth Contributions are After-Tax deferrals, instead of Pre-Tax. All interest accumulated during the duration of the plan is tax free when the employee withdraws the funds at retirement. If you want a Roth, contact your investment provider to learn if they allow Roth accounts.
