Save the Date: The annual CVUSD Districtwide College Fair returns on Thursday, September 19th from 5:00pm to 6:30pm at Thousand Oaks High School followed by in-person workshops from 6:45pm-8:20pm. All CVUSD high school students and their families are invited to attend this cost-free event.

Register Now: “Reality Party for Parents” a FREE Event on April 27th
CVUSD parents/guardians are invited to attend a "Reality Party for Parents," on Saturday, April 27th. At this “Reality Party,” participants will tour a local Conejo Valley home set up to portray a teen party with youth actors voicing concerns expressed by local teens and young adults. Reservations are required.

Congratulations Richard Batemen of Newbury Park High - CVUSD’s April 2024 Teacher of the Month!
Richard Bateman spends countless hours attending every possible school-sanctioned event that involves Newbury Park High School students to capture the special moments of their educational journeys through his gift of photography. He is a veteran in the classroom with more than 25 years of teaching in the CVUSD and currently serves as a digital photo and computer graphics teacher.

CVUSD Scholars Earn Top Awards in Annual Ventura County Science Fair
Twenty-eight CVUSD scholars were winners across a variety of scientific categories including microbiology, engineering and chemistry at the 69th annual Ventura County Science Fair. Scholars from our Thousand Oaks High and Los Cerritos Middle comprise 13 of the 35 highest-scoring entrants in the competition and will advance to the California Science & Engineering Fair, and for the second year in a row a CVUSD scholar has earned the honor of competing in the prestigious ISEF.

Congratulations to Michelle Eby of Banyan Elementary, Dawn Gould of Los Cerritos Middle and Lisa Ryder of Westlake High for being recognized as 2024 Outstanding Math Educators by the Ventura County Math Council. They represent three of five educators in the county to earn this recognition for their exceptional dedication to quality mathematics education.
