  • The School Choice Application for the 2025-2026 School Year Opens November 1st

    In the CVUSD, we have a right fit for every student. For families who would like to enroll their student in a CVUSD school other than their assigned neighborhood school, this may be completed via the School Choice Application process. On Friday, November 1, 2024 at 8:00 am, the School Choice Application for the 2025-2026 school year will be available for families to complete online.

  • Join Us: Upcoming High School Information Nights

    Future high school families, you are invited to upcoming Information Nights to visit our three comprehensive high school campuses. Our award-winning Thousand Oaks High School, Newbury Park High School and Westlake High School each have unique academic offerings and extracurricular activities that engage students in caring and supportive learning environments.

  • CVUSD Earns Bond Rating Upgrade

    We are proud to share that on November 8th, Moody's Ratings upgraded the District's CA’s issuer rating to Aa3 from A1, and the District’s general obligation unlimited tax (GOULT) rating to Aa2 from Aa3. This upgrade is driven by the District's growing economy and sound financial position that will remain stable given conservative fiscal management.

  • You're Invited: Virtual Preview Nights for New Proposed Core Literature Title

    The CVUSD community is invited to join the District’s Instructional Services team for two scheduled Preview Nights (virtual) to review a proposed new middle school Core Literature title: WILDOAK by CC Harrington (Gr 7 - Extended). Register to attend now.
