Conejo Cares Healthy Living Program
-
The mission of the Conejo Valley Unified School District "Conejo Cares Healthy Living Program" Committee (CCHLP Committee), is to promote individual and family wellness among all employees and their families through education, prevention, early detection, and better access to comprehensive health resources.
Ultimately our vision is to foster adoption of a wellness culture across the District, and to offer such benefits as improved health, greater feelings of well-being, heightened personal performance, reduced sick leave, and reduced medical expenditure.
The Wellness Committee was established to provide all employees and their families the opportunity to enhance total well-being. The Committee will provide information regarding opportunities for participation in programs and activities which promote mental, emotional, and physical well-being to all employees.
An important subject of discussion by the Committee is effective employee communication strategies on matters pertaining to the business of the Committee.
Areas that are not the responsibility of the Committee are Anthem Blue Cross and Kaiser Permanente health benefit plan changes, rates, and implementation timelines.
