Elementary Wellness Programs

  •  Lunch Bunch

    Lunchtime activities that are based upon wellness themes include activities such as community art projects, games that promote a positive school climate, and healthy and age-appropriate coping strategies.

     

    Small group support

    Teachers, counselors, and administrators can request small group support that is offered for 4–8 weeks.  Parent/Guardian permission is required for students to participate in small group services.

    Ongoing Individual Counseling

    Teachers, counselors, and administrators can refer students for ongoing, individual counseling. Students are provided with healthy strategies to navigate events and transitions that may elicit a stress reaction. Students are seen weekly on a rotating schedule to minimize time out of the classroom. Parent/Guardian permission is required for students to participate in ongoing, individual counseling.
