An End of Year Message from the Superintendent

Dear CVUSD Community:

Congratulations on an exceptional year of learning in the classroom, growing as members of our community, and building connections and friendships with one another that will last a lifetime.

There is much to be proud of, as we close out what has been another extraordinary year in the Conejo - filled with accomplishments, accolades and celebrations. What I am most proud of is how our schools continue to build their campus communities centered on kindness, inclusion, academic excellence and unique club and extracurricular opportunities where each and every student can feel a sense of belonging.

As we reflect on the days that have passed, and the summer months ahead - I extend my gratitude to each one of you - the members of our CVUSD community - that make the Conejo the special place it is for preparing the next generation of innovators and leaders.

It will be an exciting week for our Class of 2024 graduates - and we look forward to seeing our nearly 1,600 graduates from our five high schools toss their caps and embark on the future of their dreams. Congratulations on this accomplishment, we are so proud to have been a part of each and every one of our graduates' lives.

For all of our scholars who will be matriculating to a new CVUSD middle or high school, we celebrate all you have achieved and look forward to the positive impact you will make on your new secondary campus in the fall.

It is truly a special time in the Conejo, and we wish all of our families and staff members the very best as we all celebrate the school year that has passed and the summer months of restoration ahead.

Sincerely,
Dr. Mark McLaughlin
Proud Superintendent of Conejo Valley Unified School District
