Congratulations Tasha Beaudoin of Thousand Oaks High, CVUSD’s November 2022 Teacher of the Month!

Tasha Beaudoin has vision and a never-ending work ethic that benefits students greatly. A long-time Lancer teacher of more than two decades, Mrs. Beaudoin uses her skills as an English teacher, Journalism Advisor, and Co-Director of the Center for Advanced Studies and Research to support students and help make Thousand Oaks High School the amazing school community it is. We and the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce are proud to honor Mrs. Beaudoin as our CVUSD November 2022 Teacher of the Month!

A current English, Journalism and AP Seminar teacher at TOHS, Mrs. Beaudoin also advises the award-winning Lancer  newspaper and helped transition it into a digital format.  As the  founding faculty member and coordinator of The Center for Advanced  Studies and Research, she has led the Center team on a mission to  help students reach their goals and make The Center the preeminent  academic program in Ventura County.

Mrs. Beaudoin possesses the rare balance of having the skillset for building positive, caring and meaningful relationships with a diverse group of people, while at the same time holding them to high standards.

She demonstrates such a passion for supporting students that she continually builds coalitions of people around worthwhile causes. She brings ideas to school administration on a regular basis that support students and student successes.

Mrs. Beaudoin continues to make a big impact at TOHS. She has been an integral part of developing a program that ranks as one of the state’s top high school academic programs, which consistently serves as the blueprint for high schools across the nation for how to build a successful AP Capstone program.

On Wednesday, November 16th, the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Conejo Valley Unified School District surprised Mrs. Beaudoin with the November 2022 Teacher of the Month recognition during a Thousand Oaks High School staff meeting. Mrs. Beaudoin received a commemorative plaque honoring her special recognition. Congratulations, Mrs. Beaudoin and thank you for your endless dedication and contributions to the Lancer and CVUSD community!
